Marvel Rivals enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting opportunity to enhance your gaming experience with the upcoming Twitch Drops campaign! This campaign not only offers a chance to snag a free Adam Warlock skin but also comes with a host of other rewards. Dive into the details below to learn more about the Twitch Drops and the significant updates in the upcoming patch for Marvel Rivals.
NetEase has unveiled its latest Marvel Rivals Twitch Drops campaign, providing players with the opportunity to acquire a free Adam Warlock skin during Season 1.5. The announcement, made on Twitter (X) on March 12, highlighted that Season 1.5 Twitch Drops will offer exclusive rewards such as the Adam Warlock Will of Galacta Spray, Nameplate, and Costume.
The campaign kicks off on March 13 at 7:00 PM PDT and runs until April 3 at 7:00 PM PDT. To claim these rewards, players must watch Marvel Rivals streams on Twitch that have Drops enabled. It's crucial to link your Marvel Rivals account to your Twitch account to ensure you receive the rewards. Each reward has specific watch time requirements, so make sure to check those out!
NetEase also shared exciting news on Twitter on March 1 about new skins for Loki and Storm, set to be available starting March 13 at 7:00 PM PDT / March 14 at 2:00 AM UTC. These Asgardian-themed skins include the Presidential Attire for Loki and the Goddess of Thunder for Storm.
Storm's new skin showcases her in Asgardian armor, wielding a hammer reminiscent of Mjolnir, dubbed Stormcaster. This skin pays homage to a comic storyline where Storm, having lost her powers, receives the hammer from Loki to regain control over the elements—a twist in Loki's ongoing schemes. This marks Storm's first new skin since the game's launch.
Loki's Presidential Attire, initially showcased during the Marvel Rivals beta test, was one of the first skins available to players for free. Fans eagerly await its official release and hope for the introduction of other skins from the beta, such as the Spider-Punk costume for Spiderman and the Steampunk-themed costume for Ironman.
Marvel Rivals released the patch notes for the upcoming update on their website on March 12, 2025. The update is scheduled to go live on March 13 at 2:00 AM PDT without any server downtime, allowing players to jump right back into the game post-update.
This update addresses several key issues, including fixes for the voice chat overlay, frame rate affecting sensitivity, and failed sent messages. Additionally, it resolves problems with characters clipping into unexpected areas and includes multiple fixes for various skills and abilities of the heroes.
A separate page on the Marvel Rivals website details hero balance adjustments. Notable changes include a boost to Human Torch's primary attack damage and Ultimate Ability, balanced mid-range offensive capabilities for Ironman, and enhanced healing capabilities for Cloak and Dagger.
NetEase remains committed to enhancing Marvel Rivals through regular updates and enriching the game with new content, especially cosmetics. Marvel Rivals is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay tuned to our articles for the latest updates and information on Marvel Rivals!
