In *Atomfall*, Atomic Batteries are not just crucial for advancing the storyline but also serve as valuable commodities for bartering. Having a few extra can significantly boost your trading power. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to obtain Atomic Batteries in *Atomfall*.
To progress through the main story in *Atomfall*, you must find Atomic Batteries and deposit them at The Interchange. Fortunately, the game provides several Leads that guide you to these batteries. Here are some of the leads I've discovered:
If you're struggling to find Atomic Batteries, bartering is a viable alternative. Molly, mentioned earlier, has a battery available for trade, and other traders might also have them as their inventory rotates periodically.
Each trader has preferences, indicated by green, yellow, or red icons when you offer an item. Green signifies high preference, while red indicates low interest. Experimenting with different items can help you secure a better deal when trading for Atomic Batteries.
In *Atomfall*, the Protocol deploys large, armored robots throughout the Zone, often guarding critical areas or simply patrolling. These robots are powered by Atomic Batteries, which you can extract if you manage to disable them.
The most effective method is to target flamethrower-wielding robots from a distance using a rifle. Aim at the red barrels to overheat the robot until it's stunned. Once it's incapacitated, rush in and remove the Atomic Battery from its back.
*Atomfall* is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass, offering players various ways to engage with the game's mechanics and progress through its intriguing narrative.
