Even though Valve has moved away from a fixed update schedule, their commitment to enhancing Deadlock remains strong. The latest patch, while not a complete overhaul, introduces significant changes that players will notice. For a comprehensive list of updates, check out the game's forum page.

On January 18, Deadlock welcomed four new heroes, and shortly after, Valve rolled out balance adjustments to ensure a fair gameplay experience. Holliday's ability, Crackshot, now triggers on units and uses half its cooldown when doing so, while Calico's ability, Ava, can now destroy objects she runs through.
The patch also fine-tuned older heroes: Kelvin's health has been boosted from 600 to 650, Vendicta’s bullet speed has been reduced from 810 to 740, and her movement speed dropped from nine to eight. These targeted changes affect a total of 11 heroes, including the newly introduced ones.
Deadlock continues to be in closed beta, with an active online player base that fluctuates between 7,000 and 20,000, reflecting sustained interest in the game's development and updates.
