The Delta Force PC Alpha Test kicked off on August 5 at 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT, much to the excitement of eager fans. However, the developers announced on August 30 that the Alpha Test would conclude on September 8, or Sept 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for those in the United States.
Fans had several ways to secure their spot in the Alpha Test:
The official Twitter/X account also frequently offered Alpha Test codes during special events and milestones, giving fans more opportunities to join the action.
From the pre-alpha test conducted from July 11 - 15, the developers identified critical errors that impacted gameplay for a limited number of participants. As a result, they had to postpone the originally planned July Alpha test to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience for all players.
Delta Force was initially set to launch its Alpha Test on July 18, with no specified end date. Fans could apply for access via the official website by completing player surveys, request access on the official Steam page, or watch content creators on Twitch.tv to receive Steam keys through Twitch Drops.
The pre-alpha test from July 11 to 15 served as a stress test, allowing a small group of players early access. Applying through all available channels increased the chances of early entry.
The Alpha Test was exclusively for PC, accessible via the game's official client or Steam. Access to one platform did not guarantee access to the other, as cross-progression was not available during the alpha phase. For more details on the test's content, check out their comprehensive Steam blog post.
Delta Force will not be available on Xbox Game Pass.
