Dragonkin: The Banished Unveils Demo and Major Update Plans

Eko Software and NACON have unveiled an exciting demo and a detailed roadmap for the early access journey of their action-packed RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished. The early access version, launching on Steam on March 6, 2025, will include the prologue and the first chapter, allowing players to dive into the game's rich narrative through three distinct heroes: the Knight, the Oracle, and the Barbarian. Players will also be joined by four Vermplings, cooperative companions that enhance the combat experience. Key features such as the innovative Bloodline Grid skill progression system, endgame hunting quests, and initial upgrades for the central hub city will be available from the start. The demo is currently live and will be accessible until March 3, 2025, as part of Steam Next Fest.

The development team has ambitious plans for the year ahead. Spring updates will introduce new abilities, enhance endgame content, add a fresh endgame activity, and improve hub city features. Summer updates will bring a new hero, additional skills, and expanded endgame challenges. By autumn, the game will implement multiplayer support, alongside ongoing refinements to the Bloodline Grid and hub city mechanics.

In Dragonkin: The Banished, players will explore a world tainted by ancient dragon blood, guiding a legendary warrior on a quest to defeat sinister creatures emerging from the earth and confront the all-powerful Dragonlords behind the chaos. Progression is driven by character growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution, with the strategic Bloodline Grid system allowing players to tailor their abilities to their playstyle.

Dragonkin: The Banished will launch in Steam Early Access on March 6, 2025, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
