Electronic Arts, commonly known as EA, is currently running an exclusive playtest for their new game, *City Life Game with Friends*, as part of their ambitious *The Sims Project Rene*. This limited-time playtest is designed to gather valuable feedback on the game's performance and player interactions, offering a sneak peek into what EA might have in store for fans of life simulation games.
The playtest is exclusively available for Android users whose devices are running at least Android 12 and have a minimum of 4GB of RAM. It's important to note that access to this playtest is not open to everyone, so if you're interested, you'll need to check if you qualify.
The playtest will run until April 4th, 2025, but keep in mind that the end times vary by region. It will conclude at 7 PM UTC, 6 AM AEST in Australia, and 3 AM PHT in the Philippines. Once the playtest ends, the game will no longer be accessible, and you will need to uninstall it from your device.
This playtest isn't a full version of the game, nor does it fully represent the final product. However, it's a fantastic opportunity to get a glimpse of the direction EA is exploring with *The Sims Project Rene*. It's evident that EA is experimenting with a variety of innovative concepts, and this playtest is a part of that journey.
Once you gain access to the playtest, you can dive into creating a character that reflects your personal style and vibe. The neighborhood in *City Life Game with Friends* is vibrant and full of activities. You can explore the Thrift Shop for unique outfits, relax at the Café, or participate in community events to foster a sense of belonging.
The game encourages players to collaborate on organizing block parties, make wishes at the plaza fountain, and embark on quests to find hidden collectibles. It emphasizes social interaction and community building, allowing you to connect with others based on shared interests in art, music, and meaningful conversations.
If you're intrigued by this playtest, head over to the Google Play Store to see if you can participate, especially if you're located in one of the designated playtest regions. If *City Life Game with Friends* isn't your cup of tea, stay tuned for our next update on Bandai Namco's decision to discontinue their PAC-MAN Mobile game on its 45th anniversary.
