HoYoverse has unveiled details for Honkai: Star Rail's version 2.6 update, titled "Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age," launching October 23rd. This update transports players to Penacony and its vibrant Paperfold University, celebrating its anniversary with a bustling campus atmosphere.

New Character and Gameplay

The spotlight shines on Rappa, a new 5-star Galaxy Ranger character who also identifies as a ninja. Her gameplay revolves around ninjutsu, incorporating ninja mantras, scrolls, graffiti, and even rap. Rappa's quest centers on hunting down the villainous Evil Ninja Osaru. Her ultimate attack, Sealform Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, features a first-person perspective, allowing players to decimate enemies and significantly reduce their Toughness.

Events and Updates

Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6 boasts several exciting events:

• Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription: Manage a band for the Dreamlight Anniversary music party, collaborating with Rappa for an unforgettable performance.
• Limited-time character banners featuring the return of 5-star characters Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine will be available during the first and second halves of the update.

The Simulated Universe receives a major expansion, surpassing the scale of previous additions like Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears. The third DLC, "The Unknowable Domain," introduces a massive void connected to post-Second Emperor's War conflicts over the Scepter system—a powerful external thinking unit.
