The highly anticipated life simulation game inZOI is set to launch globally on March 28, as confirmed by developer KRAFTON. This official release date marks a major milestone for fans eagerly awaiting the game’s unique take on virtual life. Ahead of the full launch, the development team will host a special live demonstration on March 19, offering an in-depth look at the upcoming Early Access phase.

The livestream event will cover key details including pricing, planned DLC content, the game’s development roadmap, and responses to frequently asked questions from the community. A defining feature of inZOI is its innovative global karma system, which dynamically shapes the game world based on player actions. Each character’s decisions contribute to their personal karma score, which ultimately determines their fate in the afterlife. Characters with negative karma become ghosts upon death, forced to atone for their actions before they can be reincarnated. If too many ghosts accumulate in the city, the natural life cycle is disrupted—childbirth stops, and the environment transforms into a somber, ghost-filled landscape.

Game director Hyunjun Kim highlights that the karma system is not about enforcing strict moral rules, but rather about exploring the complexity of life. "Life cannot simply be divided into 'good' and 'bad,'" Kim explains. "Each life has its own significance and value. We hope players will use the karma system in inZOI to create diverse stories and experiences while exploring the multifaceted nature of existence."
