King’s Raid set to return following Masangsoft’s acquisition

If you were disheartened by the closure of King's Raid, there's fantastic news on the horizon: the beloved mobile RPG is making a comeback, thanks to Masangsoft. Having acquired the IP, Masangsoft is set to breathe new life into the game following its shutdown on April 15th.

Originally launched in 2017, King's Raid distinguished itself with its unique approach to hero collection, steering clear of the typical gacha mechanics. Its real-time 3D battles, engaging narrative, and beautifully crafted characters captivated a global audience, especially in Japan and Southeast Asia. However, operational challenges led to its unfortunate closure.

Masangsoft, however, saw potential and completed the acquisition on March 17th. They are now diligently working on a global relaunch, with more details to be shared soon.

Set against the backdrop of the continent of Orbis, King's Raid follows the journey of Kasel, a young knight-in-training on a quest to find his missing brother. Accompanied by his childhood friend Frey, the magician Cleo, and bodyguard Roi, Kasel navigates a world filled with alliances, betrayals, and epic confrontations.
