Okamura, in a recent 4Gamer interview, stated: "We are dedicating significant resources to completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in 2025." He confirmed the remake is playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time focused on refining details and enhancing overall quality.

While PlayStation previously speculated a 2024 release, that timeline proved unattainable. Sources within Konami now indicate a 2025 launch across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The remake promises to faithfully capture the essence of the original while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond visual upgrades, Okamura hinted at new features designed to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Konami unveiled a captivating two-minute trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in late September. The trailer showcased key characters, dramatic action sequences including an airdrop and intense firefight, offering a glimpse into the updated gameplay.
