Niantic and Capcom have just unveiled the exciting details of the next major update for Monster Hunter Now (Free), and it's set to elevate the game to new heights. Season 3, dubbed "Curse of the Wandering Flames," introduces the formidable Magnamalo, the first Monster Hunter Rise original monster to join the Monster Hunter Now roster. Alongside Magnamalo, two other thrilling monsters will make their debut: the electrifying Rajang, and the fierce Aknosom. As an avid fan of hunting both Magnamalo and Rajang in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, I'm eager to see how they'll translate into Monster Hunter Now.
The Season 3 update doesn't stop at new monsters; it also introduces the Heavy Bowgun, a new weapon that promises to add depth to the combat system. Additionally, the update brings in a cooking feature, enhancing the gameplay experience by allowing players to craft meals that can boost their performance. Check out the stunning artwork of Magnamalo for Monster Hunter Now below:
The update also introduces new gear that players can look forward to. Here's a sneak peek at some of the new gear:
