Monster Hunter Season 3 Unveiled: 'Curse of the Wandering Flames' Arrives

by Elijah May 19,2023

Monster Hunter Season 3 Unveiled:

Autumn arrives, bringing with it not falling leaves, but monstrous challenges in Monster Hunter Now's Season 3: Curse of the Wandering Flames, launching September 12th, 2024 (12 AM UTC).

This season introduces formidable foes: Magnamalo, Rajang, and Aknosom, testing even veteran hunters. Previously unlocked via urgent quests, these behemoths will now roam freely. Rajang may even appear in Hunt-a-thons, though relying on the Monster Tracker for his location is ill-advised – luck and skill are your best allies.

A powerful new weapon arrives: the Heavy Bowgun, boasting two Special Skills. Depending on your Bowgun, unleash devastating Wyvernheart shots or pinpoint Wyvernsnipe attacks.

Season 3 also debuts the cooking feature, allowing creation of Well-Done Steaks with unique in-game benefits. New hunter medals, equipment, and skills, such as the Hellfire Cloak, enhance gameplay.

However, some monsters are taking a temporary leave: Radobaan, Banbaro, Tzitzi-Ya-Ku, and others will be absent at Season 3's launch, but their return is guaranteed through urgent quests.

Limited-time in-game packs, including the Recovery Bargain Pack and Hunt Support Pack, will be available from September 2nd to October 6th. Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and prepare for the hunt! For more gaming news, check out our latest article on Ash of Gods: The Way, now available on Android.
