As we head into the weekend, if you're a devout Monster Hunter fanatic who can't get to your PC or console for Rise, you can still get your fix of creature-slaying action. Niantic's hit AR creature-hunter, Monster Hunter Now, is out now with its latest update for Season 5: The Blossoming Blade.
First off, who are the headliners joining the roster of monsters in Monster Hunter Now? Keep your eyes peeled because Glavenus and Arzuros are both set to debut as they roam the field. Make sure to tick off your Season 5 Urgent Quests to unlock them, and dive into Hunt-a-thons for a chance to more frequently encounter the elusive Glavenus.
Fortunately, if you're jumping into the hunt, you'll be pleased to know that a new suite of buffs and balances are on the way. The Sword & Shield combo is getting an attack boost, while its movements have been refined to enhance your combat abilities. Be sure to check out the full blog for more detailed information!
Now, with every new season, there'll be those of you lamenting what you've missed in previous seasons. In that case, you'll be excited to learn that coming soon there are also Monster Unlock Quests, which give you a chance to unlock encounters with previously available monsters.
With new skills like Shared Sword and Raw Power, along with the upcoming Event Exchange Hub (launching March 17th), there are plenty of reasons to jump in and see what new hunting strategies you can come up with!
