Get ready for an exciting addition to Monster Hunter Now with the launch of the Spring Hunt 2025 event, part of the second update in Season 5: The Blossoming Blade. This special online paid event is set to take place from May 24th to May 25th, 2025, and promises thrilling encounters with the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos.
To participate in the Spring Hunt 2025, you'll need to purchase an event ticket from the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket grants you access to uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions, exclusively featuring Chameleos. Say goodbye to waiting between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons! Plus, as an added bonus, you'll have the chance to acquire exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear.
The event also introduces Event Exchange Hubs, with two hubs available during the Spring Hunt. The Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub will be open from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During this period, you can earn tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons between May 19th and May 25th. These tokens can then be exchanged for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.
Chameleos, the master of stealth, is renowned for its ability to vanish and emit a disorienting fog that impairs visibility. Starting May 24th, 2025, you can engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions and confront this elusive elder dragon. If you're ranked 100 or above, you'll have the opportunity to encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. To maximize your chances, equip weapons and armor that exploit Chameleos' vulnerabilities to Fire, Dragon, and Blast.
Successfully defeating Chameleos allows you to craft the new Mizuha Set armor, which includes the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill halves the duration of poison and venom effects on you and enhances your ability to poison enemies. The range of weapons you can craft using Chameleos materials is extensive, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. So, don't miss out—download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and prepare for the Spring Hunt 2025.
