Hotta Studios' upcoming open-world RPG, Neverness to Everness, is gearing up for its first closed beta test – exclusively in mainland China. While international players will miss out on this initial test, the excitement is building as the game approaches release.
Gematsu recently highlighted new lore details, which shouldn't surprise those familiar with the stunning city of Eibon showcased in previous trailers (see below). The game blends a comedic tone with intriguing elements, showcasing a unique interplay between the bizarre and the ordinary in the world of Hetherau.
Hotta Studios, a subsidiary of Perfect World (creators of the successful Tower of Fantasy), is entering a competitive market dominated by titles like MiHoYo's Zenless Zone Zero and NetEase's Ananta (formerly Project Mugen). However, Neverness to Everness aims to stand out, particularly with its unique feature: open-world driving.

Players can expect the thrill of high-speed city driving, complete with car customization and realistic damage effects. While the game's beta is currently China-only, its innovative features and compelling world suggest a strong contender in the crowded 3D mobile RPG landscape.
