Pikmin Bloom is all set to celebrate its 3.5th anniversary next month, and Niantic has planned a nostalgic trip down memory lane with a special event starting on May 1st, 2025. This anniversary is not just another milestone; it's a throwback to the iconic days of Nintendo!
Over the years, Pikmin Bloom has delighted us with a variety of fun decor, including Pikmin dressed in Mahjong Tiles and Playing Cards. For its 3.5th anniversary, the game is bringing back the classic Nintendo game consoles from the '80s and '90s, allowing players to relive the magic of those times.
Adding to the nostalgia, Niantic is introducing a Playing Card (Clubs Suit) Decor Pikmin. This is a special nod to Nintendo’s origins when they were primarily known for crafting playing cards before venturing into the world of video games. The designs of these cards are inspired by Nintendo’s vintage playing card decks, adding a touch of history to your game.
The event will run from May 1st until May 31st, 2025, giving you an entire month to engage with the missions and collect some cool new Pikmin. Completing each Event Challenge mission will reward you with random goodies such as Game Button Cells, seedlings that can blossom into Nintendo Consoles ‘80-‘95 Decor Pikmin, and flower petals.
During the event, keep an eye out for Brilliant Mushrooms. Smashing these will yield Mystery Boxes containing items like Game Button Cells, flower petals, and more. The Nintendo Consoles ‘80-‘95 or Playing Card Decor Pikmin are particularly effective at taking down these mushrooms, so make sure to use them to maximize your rewards.
May brings a flourish of beautiful flowers to Pikmin Bloom. Plant red, yellow, white, or blue petals around these blooms, and they can transform into carnations, sweet peas, lilies of the valley, freesias, canola flowers, or anniversary roses.
There's also a new nectar update for May. The fruit from mushrooms during this month will provide nectar not only for regular flowers but also for the special blooms like carnations, sweet peas, lilies of the valley, freesias, canola flowers, and anniversary roses, enhancing your gardening experience.
Don't miss out on other exciting events like Community Day. Make sure to download Pikmin Bloom from the Google Play Store and get ready for the 3.5th anniversary celebration.
