Excitement is building among fans of the Girls’ Frontline franchise as Project NET, a thrilling new third-person shooter mobile game, opens its pre-registration phase. Announced by the developers on their official South East Asian (SEA) Twitter (X) account on March 3, 2025, this eagerly anticipated spinoff promises to deliver an immersive gaming experience. To pre-register, simply head over to Project NET’s official SEA website and hit the Pre-Register button. You'll need to provide your email address and select your preferred device, either iOS or Android. Similarly, pre-registration is also open on the game's official Russian (RU) website.
Adding to the buzz, Project NET has launched a beta test known as the "Shock Point Test," announced via the game’s official SEA Twitter (X) account on March 4, 2025. This test is exclusively available to players in the Philippines and will be conducted on Android devices. It's a limited-access, non-monetized test where all data collected will be deleted post-test. The Shock Point Test will also be rolled out in Russia, with more information available on their RU website. As the developers work on optimizing the game, they're gearing up for a global rollout across other countries and regions.
The schedule for the SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment Registration is now set. After completing the recruitment questionnaire, successful participants can expect to receive their confirmation emails between March 24, 2025, and March 26, 2025. The distribution of test qualifications will continue throughout the testing period, which has yet to be fully announced.
Sunborn Network, the creative minds behind the acclaimed mobile game Girls’ Frontline, first unveiled Project NET on December 27, 2024. This new venture into a third-person shooter genre for mobile devices conducted its initial localized test in SEA countries from January 9, 2025, to January 16, 2025, spanning Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
The Girls’ Frontline franchise kicked off in 2016 as a mobile strategy RPG gacha game, quickly gaining popularity and spawning an anime series and additional games. Its sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, hit the market on December 5, 2024. As a part of this beloved series, Project NET is set to feature familiar characters and distinctive aesthetics that fans have come to love.
While an official release date for Project NET remains under wraps, the game is currently compatible with both iOS and Android, as demonstrated during its initial testing phase.
