League of Legends has embraced its musical roots in recent years, from the captivating soundtrack of Arcane to the unique blend of idols and MOBA champions with K/DA. Now, Teamfight Tactics is bringing back a fan-favorite set with Revival: Remix Rumble, set to launch at 5 PM PT today (which is tomorrow for UK readers) and will run until July 29th!
What is Remix Rumble, you ask? This music-themed set introduces new augments that enhance specific characters. For instance, K/DA champions benefit from augments like Mesmerising Performance and Rap Queen, which not only boost their effects but also add exciting twists to the gameplay.
The current Teamfight Tactics set will seamlessly integrate with the revival, featuring the Hacks mechanic from the Cyber City set during opening encounters. You might encounter Ahri, who upgrades your Headliners to appear one level higher, Akali, who enhances Headliner champions with an additional trait, and Zac, who introduces the Cyber City hacks into the mix!
MashupNot only are these exciting features making a return, but the much-anticipated Revival Ladder is also back. This progression system allows you to unlock new ranks and rewards based on your skill and gameplay style. Additionally, an event pass is available for 975 RP, packed with Remix Rumble-themed rewards and a new Little Legend, the Pentakill Siege Minion, joining the lineup.
While Teamfight Tactics diverges from the original League of Legends in genre and gameplay, it successfully brings the fun and excitement of the iconic MOBA to mobile platforms.
