Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling new free DLC titled the Emerald Diorama, which introduces elements from Square Enix’s renowned JRPG series, SaGa. This crossover marks the game's most significant update to date, bringing a fresh wave of excitement to its fanbase.
The Emerald Diorama DLC enriches the Vampire Survivors experience with a new stage that feels like a mini world map, complete with world-hopping dynamics. Players can explore over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to singers of cursed songs. Additionally, the DLC introduces over 16 new weapons and a unique Glimmer system, allowing players to randomly acquire new skills during their runs. The update also features nine new music tracks to enhance the immersive gameplay experience.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players must visit Moongolow and engage with a new merchant to purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold. From there, the content can be unlocked progressively. The DLC also introduces character parties, enabling players to form and control their own mini squads. For a sneak peek at what the Emerald Diorama has to offer, check out the launch trailer below.
Moreover, the DLC comes with two new Adventures, which are mini-campaigns comprising six chapters each. "To End an Ice Age" is tailored for the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" extends the new content of the Emerald Diorama.
Simultaneously, the base game received another free update named The Coop, which focuses on a chicken theme. This update introduces a new character named Gazebo, along with a new weapon and a relic that increases the game speed. Players can also achieve various accomplishments and unlock Darkana by collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens, fully unlocking The Coop's potential.
For those diving into The Coop, a useful tip: refrain from killing any enemies for the first minute to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it further with Parm Aegis will unlock Gazebo.
Vampire Survivors, along with the free DLC Emerald Diorama and the free update The Coop, is available on the Google Play Store. The game now supports cross-platform saving, allowing progress to be transferred across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS.
