At Star Wars Celebration, fans were treated to exciting news about the future of the Star Wars: Visions series. Mark your calendars for October 29, 2025, as Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+. This volume will continue to captivate audiences with nine new short films crafted by renowned Japanese anime studios, including Studio Trigger (known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (famous for Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q. Each studio brings its unique style to the expansive Star Wars universe, promising a visually stunning and narrative-rich experience.

Volume 3 will also feature three episodes that continue stories from previous seasons: Kamikaze Douga's "The Duel," Kinema citrus Co.'s "The Village Bride," and Production I.G.'s "The Ninth Jedi." This continuation is a testament to the rich storytelling that has become a hallmark of the Visions series.
Speaking of "The Ninth Jedi," writer and director Kenji Kamiyama shared thrilling news at Star Wars Celebration. The journey of Kara, a character introduced in Volume 1, will be expanded in a new spin-off series. This series will delve deeper into the larger Star Wars: Visions universe, allowing for longer and more detailed storytelling. Fans can look forward to seeing Kara alongside Juro in the upcoming 'Child of Hope' episode in Volume 3.
