Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Receives Rating in Singapore

by Nathan May 22,2025

The fire of rumors surrounding the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remake is burning brighter than ever. Singapore's rating board has recently rated "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for a release in 2025, adding substantial fuel to the speculation. This anticipated remake, which would include the next two iconic entries in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series, is poised to hit a wide array of platforms. The rating lists Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, promising a broad reach for this exciting collection.

Despite the absence of an official confirmation, clues are mounting. A countdown timer spotted within Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is teasing some Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news, set to reveal on March 4, 2025. Adding to the excitement, Tony Hawk himself has hinted at a collaboration with Activision during an interview with Mythical Kitchen. "It will be something the fans will truly appreciate," Hawk remarked, stoking anticipation for what's to come.

Following the successful and well-received remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 in 2020, remakes of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4 seemed like a natural progression. However, the absorption of the original remake's developer, Vicarious Visions, into Blizzard in 2021 threw a wrench into those plans. Tony Hawk shared in a Twitch livestream in 2022 that Activision had been exploring options with other studios for the 3+4 project. "The truth of it is that [Activision] were trying to find somebody to do 3 + 4 but they just didn’t really trust anyone the way they did Vicarious, so they took other pitches from other studios," he explained. Unfortunately, none of the pitches met Activision's expectations, leaving the project in limbo.

With the Singaporean ratings board listing only Activision as the publisher and developer for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, the burning question remains: who is actually developing this eagerly awaited remake? All eyes are on the upcoming announcement on March 4, which promises to shed more light on this mystery and potentially confirm the long-awaited revival of these beloved skateboarding classics.
