Using the App and Scanner Together:

The app and the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner operate independently. You can choose to receive alerts on your phone or the scanner, but not both simultaneously. To receive phone alerts, initiate the sensor via the app; for scanner alerts, initiate with the scanner. A scanner-initiated sensor can still be read by the phone.

Important Note: For complete data, scan your sensor with your chosen device every 8 hours. Incomplete scans will result in incomplete reports. LibreView.com provides a central location to view data from all your devices.
