General Changes

Starting with the core gameplay and interface, GGG has introduced a League Migrations button, enabling players to seamlessly transfer characters to parent leagues. The Strongbox mechanics have been overhauled, reducing intervals between enemy waves and making spawned mobs more distinguishable from the map's original inhabitants. A bug preventing monster spawns has been squashed, and fog now dissipates once all enemies are defeated. Players will encounter Research Strongboxes more frequently, enhancing the thrill of exploration.

Rune sockets in equipment now allow for more flexibility, as players can replace runes with new ones. Armor effectiveness has been boosted, ensuring better protection against the game's challenges. Access to Expedition Vendors is no longer tied to character level, but rather the rarity of equipment depends on the shop's level, ensuring a fair progression system.

Minions that perish too far from the player will now respawn instantly nearby, keeping your support close at hand. The level of Uncut Gems is now displayed in the item name for easier identification, and equipped Charms now show remaining charges, aiding in better inventory management. Entering a map is now safer, with monsters no longer spawning right at the entrance. Picking up items from the ground has been streamlined, allowing for smoother gameplay even during combat or other actions.

GGG has also focused on enhancing overall game performance, particularly in shadow-heavy areas, boosting loading speeds, optimizing boss fights and visual effects, and refining gameplay behavior in The Ziggurat Encampment.

The Supercharged Slam skill now has a defined radius limit of 3 meters, offering more control over its impact. Scavenged Plating now grants more stacks based on enemy strength, enhancing strategic play. The Vine Arrow skill description has been updated to clarify that the projectile only hits enemies upon landing, improving player understanding of its mechanics. The Pain Offering skill no longer carries an Aura tag, and skills socketed in Meta Gems can no longer gain energy, adjusting the balance of power.

Lightning Bolt has been renamed to Greater Lightning Bolt, signifying its association with the unique amulet Choir of the Storm, and its damage mechanics have been fine-tuned for better gameplay integration.

Monster Changes

Mobs from Essence Monoliths can no longer use their skills immediately upon spawning, but they now boast increased Toughness, making encounters more challenging. The hitboxes of certain bosses have been adjusted to align better with their visual attack animations, ensuring fair combat. The spawn rate of some monsters has been reduced, and their energy shield has been re-evaluated to enhance map clearing enjoyment.

Visual effects for many mobs have been upgraded, and their attacks have been modified. With over 40 changes, the gameplay experience has been significantly improved without drastic alterations.

Endgame Changes

Patch 0.1.1 introduces four new Tower Map areas, with the Lost Towers Map receiving an update. The Arbiter of Ash boss fight now offers six attempts instead of one, acknowledging its difficulty. The Falling Flame Seed skill can no longer be interrupted, and the Flaming Gale skill can't be blocked, intensifying the battle. The boss now focuses more on players than minions, enhancing the challenge.

Maps now feature checkpoints, ensuring players can encounter, defeat, and loot at least three Rare Monsters per map. Monster balance in several maps has been adjusted, with Untainted Paradise now boasting double the number of monsters. Some areas now contain more chests, and bosses appear more frequently (approximately once every four maps), though the chance of a Map Boss dropping a Waystone has been reduced.
