This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before embarking on their holiday, the project lead, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, provided an update on the much-anticipated features requested by the community, shedding light on which of these will be integrated into the game and to what extent.

In InZOI, players will have the exciting opportunity to utilize real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. This feature, which was highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to become even more user-friendly, as Kjun emphasized the team's commitment to simplifying the zoi creation process. Additionally, pet enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that they can have their own pets within the game, although this feature won't be available during the early access phase. Fans will need to exercise a bit of patience, but the wait will be worth it, especially for animal lovers like Kjun himself.

The game's environment will include tall buildings, with a maximum of 30 floors. While the game engine could theoretically support higher constructions, this cap is in place to ensure optimal performance and a smooth gaming experience. InZOI will also feature gas stations and more dynamic interactions, including full-fledged fights. Kjun acknowledged that the initial slap mechanic felt too superficial to players and has taken their feedback to heart, enhancing the combat system to include clear winners and losers, adding depth and excitement to the gameplay.

Recognizing the potential influx of newcomers to the genre, the developers are including a comprehensive tutorial to help ease players into the world of InZOI. This thoughtful addition underscores the team's dedication to creating an accessible and enjoyable experience for all players.

As of now, Krafton remains committed to launching InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently anticipated. The community's anticipation continues to build as the release date approaches.
